About Me
“I am enthusiastic about sharing my love of music with my students. Learning piano or any musical instrument is beneficial to anyone as it helps develop many positive traits such as focus, attention to detail, determination, and perseverance to name a few. The work can be challenging at times, but the satisfaction of learning to play piano is very rewarding. I would like all of my students to enjoy the benefits that music can bring over a lifetime.”
Education & Background
Lea received her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University. In addition, she has had post-graduate studies in piano performance at Indiana University Southeast. Lea has over 20 years experience as an independent piano teacher, pianist, accompanist and organist for area churches, weddings and other special events.
What I Teach
Classical, pop, church, variety, beginning theory. Since every student has a different learning style, Lea takes an individual approach to each student’s needs and interests.
